BLAIR DAVID IMRIE
It is with hearfelt sadness that the family of Blair David Imrie announces his sudden return to be with our Lord on July 8th, 2014 at the age of 62 years.
Blair will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jackie, to whom he was married for 40 years; two daughters, Jill Imrie of Prince George, B.C. and Laura (Barry) Candline of Fort McMurray, Alberta. His loss is greatly felt by his grandson, Matthew Candline; his parents, Alex and Joan Imrie of Lindsay, Ontario; his sister, Ann (John) Howlett of Mississauga, Ontario; two brothers, Blair’s twin, Bruce (Gayle) Imrie of Richmond, B.C. and Craig (Barbara) Imrie of Orangeville, Ontario; Jackie’s parents, Gordon and Margaret Brown of Oshawa, Ontario; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Blair was a retired RCMP officer who greatly enjoyed the outdoors, motorcycle riding and recently scuba diving. His love of family and friends filled his life and surrounded his activities.
A Celebration Of Blair’s Life will be held at the Vernon Alliance Church on Friday, July 18th, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Dithmar Molzahn and Pastor Stuart McKnight officiating. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Blair to the Vernon Alliance Church Benevolent Fund, 2601-43rd Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 3L1.
