Anton Christensen-Lemieux

Born September 6th,1992

Sadly gone now is Anton Christensen-Lemieux, and a great loss has occurred for all that knew him and all that will never meet him. He died by accident, on March 19, 2017, poisoned by fentanyl. He was 24 years old.

Anton worked full time in a popular restaurant and was also a part time English student at VIU. He was extremely well read and often suggested books to his parents, and had great taste in avant-garde movies. He was named after his mother’s favorite writer, Anton Chekhov, and Anton shone with a brilliance that equalled the name. Anton was also a gifted musician and played the drums in a band, and the piano and guitar at home. He sang silly songs that made his younger siblings laugh and also mastered Rap music, much to the worry of his mother about inappropriate language.

Anton loved his father and mother, brothers and sister, and most of all, his many, many wonderful, talented, beautiful friends. His mother would give her life to bring him back, but all she can do is write this obituary.

We love you Anton.  So sorry to lose you this way.

Peace and Love everyone.
