Woman rips siding off house, licence plate off car

Terrace RCMP say she was intoxicated and acting irrationally

TERRACE RCMP responded to 82 calls for service from September 27th, 8 a.m. till September 30th, 8 a.m.

During the same time period, there were 16 people lodged in Terrace Cells – eight of these people were lodged for public intoxication.

Here are some of the calls responded to:

Loss Prevention Officer of Walmart arrested a 25-year-old man for shoplifting. Police arrested the man. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A black leather wallet with a sockeye salmon on the front of it was lost along Queensway Dr.

A dog wandering in traffic on Feeney Ave. Police transported the dog to the Animal Shelter.

Domestic assault. Police arrested a 39-year-old man for assault. No injuries. Investigation ongoing.

An unlocked blue/black/green BMX bike was stolen from the library.

A woman freaking out, ripping siding off of a house and a licence plate off a vehicle on Pine Ave. The woman entered a residence where people attempted to restrain her till police arrived. She escaped. Police located the 42-year-old woman at her residence and arrested her for mischief. She was intoxicated and acting irrationally.

Thornhill Fire Department requested police assistance with a house fire on Kroyer Road. The house was under repair. The fire was put out quickly. The fire was deemed non suspicious.

911 hang up. Police attended to a residence on Thornhill St. and observed an intoxicated man walking around the outside of the residence carrying an axe. Investigation determined that the man had been kicked out of the residence after being involved in a consensual fight. The 29-year-old man was arrested.

A white 2006 Ford F350 truck hit the ditch at Krumm Rd./Hwy 37. The truck had been abandoned. The registered owner was contacted.

Domestic assault occurring on a front lawn on Greig Ave. Investigation determined that a man assaulted a woman and man. Police arrested a 25-year-old man for assault. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A black fourth generation iPod Touch was lost in the parking lot on the 4600 block of Lakelse Ave.
