A power outage Friday afternoon left a large area of Salmon Arm in the dark.
BC Hydro says 2,054 customers were affected and no cause has been determined yet, but the outage is under investigation. Parts of the area were experiencing high winds.
The power went off just before 3 p.m. and was restored just after 4 p.m., affecting a large chunk of the city along Highway 1 north of 12th Avenue, west of 37th Street SE, east of 10 Street SW and south of the Salmon Arm foreshore.
