UPDATE: Langley Mounties have found a missing woman

FOUND: Jillian McKenney's family last heard from her Monday afternoon, but she never made it home.

A 30-year-old Langley woman reported missing yesterday, has since been found.

Earlier today, Mounties issued a call for help to find Jillian McKenney, and that plea for assistance paid off.

She has been located “safe and sound,” said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Holly Largy. “Thanks to all for their assistance.”

INITIAL STORY

Langley RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public to locate a missing woman.

Jillian McKenney spoke with family Monday, March 6, at about 4:15 p.m.

At that time, it’s believed she was at the Real Canadian Superstore in Langley, said RCMP Cpl. Holly Largy.

“When she wasn’t home by 9 last night, police were advised she was missing,” the media officer explained.

McKenney is 30 years old, Caucasian, who stand 4 ft. 11 in. tall, weighs 111 lbs, and has dark blonde hair.

“She has a medical condition requiring her to take daily medication, which she does not have with her,” Largy added.

Anyone with information that might assist police to locate Jillian McKenney is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
