Untapped and Swirl pack the Parksville resorts

The beer, wine and food festival was popular at both The Beach Club and Tigh-Na-Mara

It’s about the beer and it’s about the wine. But it’s also about the food and a good time.

The Beach Club and Tigh-Na-Mara were the sites for the Untapped (beer) and Swirl (wine) events on Thursday and Friday nights respectively. Both venues were packed with hundreds of people who got to sample some of the best beer, spirits and wine — along with creative offerings from talented chefs — the province has to offer. A special focus this year seemed to be on products from Vancouver Island.
