Vernon residents are being notified of some traffic interruptions.
Starting Wednesday, 32nd Avenue will be closed between 28th and 29th streets to accommodate railway and utility reconstruction works for three weeks.
“Work may start early at 6 a.m. on several days to accommodate train schedules, but this will be keep to a minimum,” said Tanya Laing Gahr, the city’s communications co-ordinator.
“Traffic control will be in effect for the duration of construction and detours posted in advance of the road closure. Access to local businesses will still be possible during construction.”
Pedestrian access will be limited during construction, with full closure to pedestrians from Nov. 3 to 5 to accommodate railway track upgrades.
