The Town of Qualicum Beach council has scheduled a follow-up meeting to December’s three-hour session on its Official Community Plan review.
The second meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m. in at town hall (660 Primrose St., Qualicum Beach). Mayor Teunis Westbroek suggested a meeting also be scheduled for the following week, Jan. 24, since the review process can take a lot of time.
Westbroek said the meeting on Jan. 17 shouldn’t run more than three hours.
On Dec. 14, 2017, the committee of the whole covered the first 24 of 70 recommendations in a little more than three hours before taking time to break for lunch.
