ASHCROFT LIBRARY

Destination Imagination

This year’s Summer Reading Club, with the theme “Book a Trip”, is winding down, but participants will have a chance to get together at the Ashcroft library for Destination Imagination. Come join in the building of an epic blanket fort, and journey to new worlds, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24.

And check out the library’s facelift the next time you visit, or walk or drive past; it’s been given a makeover during the summer, and is even more welcoming than ever.

CACHE CREEK LIBRARY

Destination Imagination

Summer Reading Club participants in Cache Creek will have their own opportunity to build an epic blanket fort when Destination Imagination comes to that branch, also on August 24. The event takes place from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Wrap-up party

The Summer Reading Club finishes on Friday, August 26 with a celebration of the hard work of all the participants. There will be games, and the handing out of medals to those who achieved their goals. The party is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The adult reading club has its first meeting on Wednesday, September 7 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. There are still a few spaces available; please call the library at (250) 373-2666 to register.
