Thefts, thefts and more thefts in Terrace, B.C.

Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 73 calls for service from January 30th, 8 a.m. till February 2nd, 8 a.m.

Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 73 calls for service from January 30th, 8 a.m. till February 2nd, 8 a.m.

During the same time period, seven people were lodged in Terrace cells. Five of these people were lodged for intoxication.

Here are some of the calls responded to:

A large rock was used to smash out the window of a white Pontiac van parked at a residence on the 4500 block of Park Ave. sometime during the night of January 29/30th. Change was stolen.

A black Swiss backpack containing cables, a black Dell laptop, USB mouse, and a silver Forti-Gate router was stolen from a red 2011 Ford Edge parked on the 4800 block of Olson Ave. sometime during the night of Jan. 29/30.

A green Stack On gun cabinet that can hold 20 guns was stolen from a trailer on a property on the 3000 block of River Dr. sometime during the night of January 29/30th.

Suicidal person. Police located the person walking on a street and apprehended them under the Mental Health Act. They were transported to the hospital.

An older blue sedan in the ditch in water at Muller Ave./Empire St. Police contacted an external agency.

Attempted break and enter to a trailer at Northwest Community College. Locks were removed. Entry was not gained.

Shoplifter. Police arrested a 44-year-old man. Charges are being prepared.

Shoplifters left a business in a grey vehicle. A 31-year-old man was arrested at his residence. Under investigation.

A green Dodge Ram was pulled over on Eby St./Scott Ave. The 32-year-old driver provided samples of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in fails. He was issued an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

A green Polaris side-by-side on a trailer was stolen from a lot on Greig Ave. sometime during the night of January 30/31. The plate number of the side-by-side is #06064X. The trailer plate is #WBB92N.

Shoplifter. Police arrested a 32-year-old woman at her residence. Charges are being prepared.

A large brown dog on Kenworth St./Lowrie Ave. attacked a woman, no injuries. An external agency is involved.

A grey 2013 Kia Sorrento lost control on Hwy 37 and hit the ditch, rolling. No injuries. The vehicle was towed.

Break and enter to a business on Keith Ave. A TV was stolen. A rock was used to smash in the front door window. The thief is observed on video surveillance to be wearing a dark jacket with a reflective stripe on the back, light colored pants, gloves, and a white balaclava.

Attempts to break into compound on Keith Ave. No entry was gained. The window of a trailer was also busted.

Shoplifter. The woman is banned from the store.

Shoplifter. The youth is banned from the store. The parents are dealing with the incident.

Suicidal person. The person was apprehended under the Mental Health Act and transported to the hospital.
