SPCA returning dog found near Sicamous to rightful owner

Two-year-old German shepherd cross had no identification when found on June 21.

A dog found wandering along the Trans-Canada Highway between Sicamous and Revelstoke will soon be reunited with his owners after being taken to the Kamloops SPCA branch.

Capo was picked up while running alongside the highway on the evening of Sunday, June 21.

Although he was wearing two collars, the SPCA said Capo had no identification, so they appealed to the public for help getting him back where he belongs.

“He is very friendly, and we believe someone must be missing him,” read a post on the SPCA’s Facebook page.

Within hours of Capo’s picture being posted, the SPCA announced they had successfully located his owners and he would be heading home.
