Environment Canada calls for a 60 per cent chance of flurries Sunday

UPDATE 6:50 P.M. SATURDAY: Environment Canada says snow will end this evening, then cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of flurries. There could be up to five centimetres in the Vernon area.

On Sunday, there is a 60 per cent chance of flurries while no snow is forecast for Monday.

Anyone driving throughout the North Okanagan is dealing with snow.

Environment Canada is calling for up to five centimetres of the white stuff in the Greater Vernon area Saturday, and two to four centimetres overnight.

On Sunday and Monday, there is a 60 per cent chance of flurries each day.

Drive B.C. is reporting slush and slippery conditions on Highway 6 and highways 97, 97A and 97B as of 10:20 a.m. Saturday.
Snow clearing equipment are out tackling the roads in Vernon and Coldstream, as well as other local communities.
