Second Black Cat open stage in Cawston

The second of the Cawston Black Cat open stage event happens from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Cawston Community Hall this Saturday Night, March 16th.

The first Open Stage event happened in January at The Cawston Hall and was well attended and very well received.

Talents in music, comedy or any of the spoken or performing arts are welcome aboard. Just come to Cawston Black Cat at 7 p.m., register your name and what your talent is and the Stage Manager will include you in the evening’s series of two or three acts per set with intermissions between.

There is a house sound and lighting system is for performers. Dance music for all will be added in for the latter part of the evening.

There is a licensed cash bar as well as non-alcoholic beverages and concession snacks available.

Entry is by donation, plus one-time $1 membership fee. Donations go to a different local cause each time.

The regular open stage events are put together by volunteers and any proceeds go to support non-profit projects in the community.

Donations are always welcome.
