A MAN who left court during a break from his sentencing and didn’t return has been captured by police.
Police have Clive Evans in custody this afternoon after he disappeared earlier this afternoon during sentencing on charges of assault causing bodily harm and assault from 2009.
Two warrants were issued: one for that case and another for a case involving charges of fraud and theft, which Evans was purportedly going to plead guilty to today in court before he disappeared.
At least five officers spent time looking for him, said Terrace RCMP Corpl. Travis Decoene late this afternoon.
Evans is expected to be back in court tomorrow.
