Shutterbugs will have an opportunity to see their best photos of Pitt Meadows on display
The city of Pitt Meadows is looking for new photos to be used for a variety for city reports, for the city’s new website and for other advertising and marketing initiatives. The city is redeveloping its website and needs lots of fresh and new pictures, and a press release says city hall will “often notice the great photos residents post that they have taken throughout the community.”
“Our call for photos is an opportunity for photographers both amateur and professional to showcase their work, but also share a piece of pride in our community.
City hall is looking for photos that are specifically reflective of Pitt Meadows. Images can be nature, streetscapes, community events or other ideas that fit within the overall scope required. Images may be from any season.
The pictures may be used for city reports, on the web page, in social media or other advertising and marketing initiatives on behalf of the City.
Photos should be submitted in a low-resolution format, and if your photo is selected, you will be asked to provide a high-resolution copy, in either jpeg or tiff format.
Photographers must be willing to provide a signed release form, and “should be willing to waive their moral rights allowing the city the right to scale, crop or alter the color of the image as required.”
All submissions must be sent in low-resolution to email@example.com no later than noon on Nov. 27, 2017 for consideration. Files received after this date cannot be considered.
In exchange for the use of photos the city will provide photo credit for all images. All photographers whose work is chosen will have the ability to use their published pages as an illustrative example of their work on their personal websites or portfolios.
