Oak Bay Police briefs: Nov. 11-18

A break and enter, arson to a recycling bin and graffiti top this weeks police calls

Police responded to 75 calls between Nov. 11-18 including a report of break and enter that lead to another break and enter in Saanich.

Break and enter leads to another break and enter

A vehicle stolen by from a Nottingham Road home was later used in a break and enter in Saanich. Oak Bay and Saanich Police Departments are jointly investigating the offence that started when several items including the vehicle were stolen from the Oak Bay home.

Recycling bin fire

Police are searching for a suspect who set a fire in a recycling bin of a Lansdowne Road home sometime between Nov. 12-13.

Graffiti on the roof westwall at an Oak Bay Business is being investigated following a complaint following the Nov. 12 incident.

Parking problems

Police are asking motorists to obey all parking signage following an abnormally high number of parking violations including vehicles parked blocking driveways and or access points and in areas with no parking signs.
