The Municipality of North Cowichan began accepting and processing building, subdivision and land development applications again as of April 9.

In the face of the COVID-19 crisis, a press release from the municipality said North Cowichan has been working to resume services in a safe, cautious way that complies with orders from senior levels of government and the Provincial Health Officer.

Applications for building permits may be submitted by mail, left in the drop-box at the lower entrance to the municipal hall between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on regular business days, or submitted electronically.
