Mother of missing woman appeals for information

Caitlin Brandy Potts hasn't been seen or heard from since Feb. 22. Her mom wants to know she's safe and alright...

The mother of a missing Vernon woman has appealed to the public for information.

Caitlin Brandy Potts has not been in contact with family or friends since Feb. 22. She was reported missing to RCMP on March 1.

“We are very worried,” said Priscilla Potts.

Caitlin, 27, leads a socially active life. Her lack of online communication with friends and loved ones is out of character.

“We believe that someone must have information about Caitlin and perhaps know where she is right now,” said Priscilla. “We also need to hear from anyone who may have had contact with her or have seen her since she was last heard from.

“I miss my daughter. Not hearing from her has caused me a lot of worry and grief as any parent can understand. We simply need to hear from her so that we know she is okay.”

Caitlin is known to travel throughout B.C. and Alberta

“The Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP will continue to investigate Caitlin’s disappearance until her current whereabouts are known,” said RCMP Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy. “Family and the Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP need to know that she is safe and sound.”

If anybody has any information to Caitlin Potts’ whereabouts, please call the Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171 or the nearest detachment in your area.

If you want to remain anonymous, please call Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
