Drivers can check on road conditions at more locations on Vancouver Island with the addition of five new highway cameras, provincial Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Todd Stone has announced.

The new webcams, which will provide real-time monitoring of road conditions, include one that is located on Highway 1 at Herd Road and the Cowichan Valley Highway, approximately five kilometres north of Duncan.

The new webcams can be viewed online under the Vancouver Island tab at drivebc.ca/#webcams
