Police are on the hunt for three Caucasian men who stabbed a man when he confronted the men while they were robbing his home on the Langley/Surrey border early Wednesday morning. They left him bleeding and then fled in his white Mini Cooper, said police.
Around 4:30 a.m., Surrey RCMP were called to the home in the 19100 block of 62A Ave. Police said the home owner woke up to people inside his home. He confronted the suspects.
“A physical altercation ensued and the homeowner was stabbed,” said S/Sgt. Dale Carr.
The three male suspects fled the home taking the home owner’s 2005 white Mini Cooper with a black top, bearing BC licence plate BT675H.
The 57-year-old homeowner was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries which police say are non-life threatening.
