Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 41 calls for service from September 24th, 8 a.m. till September 25th, 8 a.m.
During the same time period, 11 people were lodged in Terrace cells – six of these people were lodged for intoxication.
A man described as Caucasian, late 30’s or early 40’s, with a pony tail invited a woman to his hotel room and offered alcohol for a good time.
Police observed a man passed out near the Skeena Liquor Store. The 38-year-old man was arrested.
Police observed a woman breaching an undertaking condition of no contact with a man. The 36-year-old woman was arrested. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.
A man drinking alcohol at Lakelse Ave./Emerson St. Police observed a man in the vicinity obstructing traffic and yelling. The 51-year-old man was arrested.
A wallet containing various ID was dropped off at the Salvation Army and turned into the detachment.
A man in the centre of the road yelling at people passing by on Lakelse Ave. Police located a man matching the description and dumped some alcohol.
Man passed out in the ATM lobby of the TD Bank. Police spoke with a 57-year-old man who was leaving upon police arrival.
Police observed a man sitting on the ground by a dumpster talking to non-existent people. Police arrested a 29-year-old man.
A purse was stolen and accusations were made. Police attended a residence and were informed that the purse had been found.
Domestic assault investigation. Incident occurred a month ago.
Erratic driver in a dark colored Mazda 3 on the Sande Overpass. Checks were done of the area.
Police pulled over a black 2001 Ford Windstar on Olson Ave. The 44-year-old driver did not have a driver’s licence and had a notice to serve a driving prohibition.
Drug information received.
A person who is camped out on private property on Tetrault St. was asked to leave and he refused. Police spoke with the 60-year-old man and he left.
A red Ford Ranger and a silver Chevrolet collided at Kalum Lake Rd./McConnell Ave. A passenger in the Ford was taken to Mills Memorial Hospital by BC Ambulance with injuries. Both vehicles sustained major damage and were towed.
Two men driving around in a white truck taking pictures of houses. Police spoke with the registered owner. The men are looking to buy property.
Intoxicated man passed out in the library. The 46-year-old man was arrested.
An intoxicated man broke a window at an apartment building on Scott Ave. The 46-year-old man was arrested. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.
Police came across three intoxicated people in the bushes off of Olson Ave. BC Ambulance was called due to the level of intoxication of the 26-year-old man. He was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital. Police were called later to the hospital when he was causing a disturbance. A sober person agreed to take charge of him for the night.
Fight on Kalum St. Police spoke with the people involved. Intoxication induced. Consensual. No injuries.
Intoxicated man locked himself in the women’s washroom of the library. Checks determined that the man was in breach x 3 of no consume alcohol conditions. The 45-year-old man was arrested and is held for court.
Intoxicated man using a stick to hold himself up on Feeny Ave. Police spoke with the 60-year-old man.
A man wearing a red ball cap and a blue jacket threw a rock through the window of a white Mitsubishi Lancer parked on Hwy 16 across from the ambulance station.
Man passed out near the aquatic centre on the side of the road. A 39-year-old man was arrested.
Suspicious man looking into vehicles in the west side parking lot of Mills Memorial Hospital. Checks were done of the area.
Thumping and banging heard in an apartment. Police spoke with a woman. No concerns.
A woman received a phone call from an unknown person claiming to be from Microsoft advising that her computer had a virus. This is the ‘Computer Virus Scam’. No information was passed on.
Missing 18-year-old woman.
A wallet contain various cards and ID was stolen from a parked grey 2014 GMC Sierra truck on Pear St. sometime last night.
Theft from a vehicle parked at the Bear Country Inn last night.
False residential alarm on Old Lakelse Lake Dr. Police were cancelled prior to attendance.
Several calls received of a man laying in the middle of Hwy 16 near the intersection of Hwy 37 with a bike beside him. The man was intoxicated. BC Ambulance attempted to transport the man to Mills Memorial Hospital but he became aggressive. Police arrested the 27-year-old man.
False business alarm on Kofoed Dr.
Threats were made. Police assistance was not wanted.
A warrant was issued for a 35-year-old man for failing to attend court.
Information on criminal activity received.
A blue 2006 Honda Civic lost control, hit the ditch, and rolled on Hwy 37 near Mackenzie Rd. The 19-year-old driver was uninjured. The vehicle was towed.
People dumping garbage on Crown Land on Old Remo Rd. Information was passed on to Conservation Services.
A man refusing to leave a residence. He left prior to police attendance. Checks were done of the area.
Domestic assault. Police arrested a 42-year-old man. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.
