Hockey fight all in the family

On June 9, Salmon Arm RCMP were called to a residence to help break up a heated family dispute stemming from the Stanley Cup playoff game and, as RCMP Cpl. Michel Grondin put it, “an inability for the Canucks to get a win at the Boston Gardens.”

It gives new meaning to a family feud.

On June 9, Salmon Arm RCMP were called to a residence to help break up a heated family dispute stemming from the Stanley Cup playoff game and, as RCMP Cpl. Michel Grondin put it, “an inability for the Canucks to get a win at the Boston Gardens.”

“With police encouragement, the arguing parties agreed to disagree in a more peaceful manner,” said Grondin. No criminal charges were laid.
