Victoria police are warning females about the release of a high-risk offender now living in the Greater Victoria area.

Roger Dale Badour, 62, poses a “significant risk” to adult females, police say, and has a long criminal history, including convictions on sexual assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and uttering death threats.

Badour was recently released on parole in the Victoria area and is being monitored by the Victoria police high risk offender officer. He was serving seven years for sexual assault.

As part of his release conditions, Badour cannot consume alcohol or other intoxicants, must report all relationships with females immediately to his parole officer and must live in the location required by the Victoria parole office.

If residents observe Badour violating any of these conditions, call Victoria police at 250-995-7654. eople with additional information on Badour should contact Det. Shawn Robson at shawn.robson@vicpd.ca.
