Former Penticton mayoral candidate missing

Former Penticton mayoral candidate who also pleaded guilty to obtaining sexual services from a person under 18 is missing.

RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Kelowna man who went missing late last month.

Benjamin Wolfe, 71, has not been seen or heard from since June 29. Wolfe has no cell phone and there is no vehicle associated to him. He is described as 5’5’’, slim build with dark, curly hair and balding on top.

Wolfe was a two-time mayoral candidate in Penticton running in 2008 and 2011 and pleaded guilty to one count of obtaining sexual services of a person under 18 in 2012.

There is no clothing description for Wolfe and Police are asking anyone with information to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
