Langley RCMP are hoping the public can identify this man believed to be responsible for mail theft last October.

Police have released a picture of a man they believe is responsible for breaking into a woman’s mailbox and using her cheques in an attempt to draw money from her bank account.

The mailbox theft took place back on Oct. 23, 2013 at Southwind Estates in the 21100 block of 88 Avenue.

The victim noted that new cheque books and a new credit card had been mailed to her and not arrived.  She then received several returned NSF cheques she had not written where the suspect(s) had attempted to take money from her account.

Police are asking the public to study theATM surveillance photograph showing an individual who is of interest to the investigation.  If you are able to assist police to identify this male, call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.  Should you need to remain anonymous, please call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
