Due to maintenance work, the Clinical Services Building parkade at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops will be closed over the upcoming long weekend.

The parkade will be closed to all traffic during the following times:

Thursday, May 17: Closed after 6 p.m.

Friday, May 18: Open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, May 19: Closed

Sunday, May 20: Closed

Monday, May 21: Closed

Tuesday, May 22: Open at 6 a.m.

Regular operations of the parkade will resume on Tuesday, May 22 at 6 a.m.

Signs will be posted to alert drivers to the closure and redirect them to alternate parking. During this closure, Interior Health asks that visitors use all other parking areas, excluding the emergency department lot, which is reserved for emergency visits. Parking will be complimentary during this closure.

May 18-21 was specifically chosen for maintenance work because long weekends generally have lower volumes of visitors to the hospital.

Interior Health apologizes for this temporary disruption, and thanks visitors to the hospital in advance for their cooperation.
