Cawston’s Cabin Fever ball coming up

The annual winter break out party includes the beloved chair auction

The Annual Cabin Fever Ball happens at The Cawston Community Hall on Saturday Night February 9th.

Three Bands will be featured, including Organic Humans, Fender Bender and a guest band, The Hilside Outlaws, from Penticton.

A popular feature of the annual hall fundraiser is the Painted Chair Auction wherein local artists have focused their talents in the wooded seat and backs of the stored hall chair collection from past days. The results are amazing.

mechanics, health care providers and other specialized services.

Proceeds from past Cabin Fever Ball events have been partnered with grant funding from The Community Foundation of the South Okanagan and Similkameen. The hall has lately been re-painted outside and in with better washroom facilities and new seating.

Contributions to this Cabin Fever Ball fundraising event are welcome. Call The Cawston Community Hall at 250-499-9716.

The Cabin Fever Ball dance starts at 7:30 p.m. with the doors opening at 7 p.m.
