An All-Around Septic Services truck was damaged in Castlegar last month, and now RCMP are looking for the culprit.

The incident occurred sometime between May 9 and 30 in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue. According to RCMP someone poured fluid into the gas tank of the truck, which caused significant damage to its fuel system.

The damage has caused significant issues for the company that owned the truck.

“We are a small family run business and this has been a big blow to us and our staff,” said the company in a social media post.

The company is offering a $10,000 reward for the successful criminal charge and conviction of the person(s) involved.

If you saw any suspicious activity in the area during the time of the incident or are a nearby resident or business with surveillance cameras, you’re asked to contact Castlegar RCMP at 250-365-7721.
