Local Winter Farmer’s Market offers quality products

Barriere Farmer’s Market at the Senior’s Hall provides select and quality products for area residents

The Bergstrands from Sun Hills Apiaries at Heffley Creek had their honey for sale, noting they think bees are fascinating creatures. During the winter season the bees require lot of care, but during the summer the bees are doing their work. They explained the bees only fly about 3km, and their apiaries are located in an area that is far enough removed from any agricultural activities that might use pesticides.

Barriere Farmer’s Market at the Senior’s Hall last Saturday provided not only select and quality products, but also a great opportunity to chat with the vendors.
