BC Fairs supports youth with scholarship opportunities

Scholarship applications being accepted now until May 19, 2017

The British Columbia Agricultural Association of Fairs and Exhibitions (BCAAFE) is currently offering two scholarships for 2017.

In addition to their $2000 BCAAFE Scholarship with the generous support of West Coast Amusements and Clyde Sokugawa, they are now also offering a new scholarship of $1000 scholarship this year for the Bingo Hauser Memorial Scholarship.

The BC Fairs $2000 Scholarship Award  is only open to applicants who are a resident of British Columbia.

Scholarships may only be won once by the same applicant, however, non-successful applicants may re-apply the following year.  An applicant may apply for a scholarship for two successive years after graduating from grade 12.

For those scholarship winners unable to enter their program the year they have been awarded the scholarship, funds will be held in trust by the BCAAFE for a maximum of one year from the time the award was made.

The scholarship selection committee will be appointed by BC Association of Agricultural Fairs and Exhibitions.

All scholarship applications MUST be received by May 19, 2017, results will be announced to applicants by June 15th, 2017.

Faxed applications will NOT be accepted.  Email applications and supporting documents must be sent in pdf file format.

The Scholarship Committee encourages all applicants to review the application requirements/supporting documents thoroughly before submitting your application.  Incomplete applications or applications submitted late will NOT be accepted.
