Nadine’s Fine Art and Frames is celebrating its ninth anniversary.

There will be an open house Friday from 6 to 10 p.m.

“We are a little gallery in the heart of downtown Vernon filled with the Okanagan’s favourite artists,” said owner Nadine Wilson.

“As individual as these artists are, each piece of art we have is individual. You will not own something than anyone else will have. We have a large selection of oil and acrylic paintings, Mixed media with a variety of textures for those who want a more abstract look. Our gallery space will hold 60 to 70 pieces in one show.”

Wilson says she knows her artists very well, and she loves to talk to the public about them.

“Locals and visitors love to come and enjoy the warm hospitality and fantastic one-of-a-kind art,” she said.

“We believe in supporting local artists and shopping locally. Vernon is home to some unbelievable talent.”
