Nov. 2 — Experience the Beatles with Rain, direct from their phenomenally successful Broadway engagement. Rain is at the South Okanagan Events Centre, for one show at 8 p.m.

Nov. 2 — South Okanagan Concert Society presents lyric-coloratura soprano, Tracy Fehr, accompanied by pianist Dennis Nordlund at 7:30 p.m, Oliver Alliance Church in a program of operatic arias, Afro-American spirituals and popular musical theatre show tunes.  Tickets available at Beyond Bliss, Oliver, or at the door.

Nov. 2 — Special acoustic gig by one of Canada’s top blues bands, Monkeyjunk, at the Dream Café.

Nov. 3 — The Contenders on their 12 annual tour of the Okanagan Interior. Valdy will performing material off his new album, Read Between The Lines, along with favourite repertoire with Gary Fjellgaard from their two previous Contenders albums. Performing at the Cleland Theatre at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at The Dragon’s Den.

Nov. 6 — At Centre Stage Theatre in Summerland the Contenders (Valdy and Gary Fjellgaard) perform their vast repertoire that spans 40 years. Show is at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Martin’s Flowers.

Nov. 10 — Rann Berry and the One Hit Wonders at the Cleland Theatre. Vegas comes to Penticton for this night of hits from the 60s and 70s that you forgot you love. Show features an eight piece band and is a fundraiser for the Pen High band program. Tickets can be purchased at the Community Centre front desk or by phone at 250-490-2426.

Nov. 25 — Christmas Music Extravaganza at the Penticton United Church featuring Musaic, Naramata Choir, Tuneagers, Sage Valley Singers and Penticton United Choir. Tickets at door $15. Concert at 2 p.m.

Jan. 26 — Canadian country musician Dean Brody brings his Dirt Tour to the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre. Tickets are $39.50 and available at the Penticton & Wine Country Visitors Centre or at

Feb.1 — Eric Church The Blood, Sweat & Tears tour comes to Penticton at the South Okanagan Events Centre.


Nov 1 to 4 ­—100 Lunches, a gourmet comedy by the Summerland Singers and Players at the Centre Stage Theatre. Tickets available at Indulgences, Good Omens Coffee House and Dragon’s Den. $18 for adult and $15 for senior/youth.

Nov. 8 — Cesar Millan Trust Your Instincts live tour stops at the South Okanagan Events Centre with his brand new seminar.

Nov. 8 — Kitchen Stove Film Series presents Ai WeiWei at the Landmark Cinema 7 theatre. Screenings at 4 and 7 p.m. Pre-purchased tickets are $10 for gallery members and students. $12 for non-members. Available at the Penticton Art Gallery, the Book Shop. Limited tickets for $15 may be available at the door.

Nov. 8 to Dec. 1 — Many Hats Theatre Company presents Becky’s Car at the Cannery Stage in the Cannery Trade Centre.Showtimes are: Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. There will be a reception opening night in the adjoining Opus Bistro Cafe which will give everyone a chance to meet and chat with the cast and crew. Tickets are $22 for adults and $19 for students and seniors and are available at the Wine Country Visitor’s Centre Railway and Eckhardt in Penticton or reserved by phone at 250-276-2170 (toll free 1-800-663-5052).

Nov. 9 — Soup Bowls Project at the Penticton Art Gallery starting at 7 p.m. Enjoy a beautiful handcrafted pottery bowl filled with delectable soups created by the finest local restaurants. South Okanagan wines, ales and homemade breads complement the meal. The Darylectones will be performing. Tickets for gallery members are $35 and for non-members $40.

Nov. 16 — The End of the World exhibition opens at the Penticton Art Gallery at 7 p.m.

Nov. 24 and 25 — Authors and Artists Christmas Faire at the Shatford Centre displaying an array of highly talented artists and authors. Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free admission and parking. Hourly Door prizes

Nov. 28 — Topics ‘n Tea with artist Glenn Clark at the Penticton Art Gallery at 2 p.m. Clark discusses his three northern B.C. tours in preparing his Abandoning Paradise Art Project. Enjoy the discussion over a cup of tea and baked goods. Free event, everyone is welcome.
