March 26 – The opening reception for the Cultural Centre’s Lobby Art Exhibition is today at 6 p.m. Meet the artists who provided the pieces adorning the large walls throughout the facility: Diane Davidson-Bastien, Keith Graham, Robert V. Harms, Anouk Jonker, Krista Kilvert, Julie Thomasen, Debbie Weismiller, and Chris Woods. The work will be on display for the 2014 calendar year.
Now to March 23 – UFV Theatre presents a contemporary version of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet at UFV’s Performance Theatre (45635 Yale Rd.) now to March 23. Now to April 26 – Unexpected Garden features paintings and constructions by Ross Bollerup at the Art Gallery in the Cultural Centre from March 13 to April 26. Gallery hours: Wednesdays to Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m., plus some evenings during theatre performances.
