SURREY — Next Friday’s opening (Oct. 7) of “It Was a Dark and Stormy Night” at Surrey Arts Centre will mark the 10th anniversary of host Royal Canadian Theatre Company.

A pre-show reception will involve the unveiling of the company’s “show-stopping new brand,” by Surrey-based Thornley Creative.

The play, dubbed “a very funny spoof of vintage Hollywood ‘old dark horse’ pictures” by director Ellie King, is staged three times on Oct. 7 and 8. For more show info and tickets, call 604-501-5566 or visit Tickets.surrey.ca.
