Get Lovesick! with Valley pianist in Cumberland

Pianist Sarah Hagen returns to the Comox Valley to perform her latest programme: Lovesick!, a concert exploring romance and heartbreak in classical music.

Pianist Sarah Hagen returns to the Comox Valley to perform her latest programme: Lovesick!, a concert exploring romance and heartbreak in classical music.

Through storytelling and music by Satie, Bach, Piazzolla and more, Hagen delves into the love stories (good and bad!) of some of her favourite composers.

Recently awarded as Ontario Contact’s 2017 Artist of the Year, and before that as the British Columbia Touring Council’s 2015 Artist of the Year, Hagen is making an impact in communities across Canada and beyond.

Hagen’s critically-acclaimed solo comedy show, Perk up, pianist!, will be coming to the Fanny Bay Community Hall in May 2018.

Concert times are Tuesday evening, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday morning, Jan. 31 at 10:30 a.m. Each performance will be 75 minutes long without intermission. Refreshments will be served after the evening performance and before the morning concert.
