The South Similkameen Arts Society will be hosting a second watercolour workshop in Keremeos, taking place on October 19 at the Anglican Church in Keremeos.

This watercolour workshop will build on the previous one, at the same time providing a review of basic techniques.

All levels are welcome. Each level will discover techniques and practice of benefit.

Fun with Watercolour Flowers and Fall Leaves Date: Sunday, October 19, 2014 9:30 am – 3:30 p.m. (bring bag lunch and refreshments) Anglican Church Hall 607 – 5th Street, Keremeos, B.C.

Workshop Description: Dianne Bersea will facilitate the watercolour discovery process.

She offers an entertaining and hands-on direct action experience. The class will be painting flower and leaf images with an emphasis on two basic watercolour fundamentals, seeing and painting shapes, and negative / positive painting.

Let the colour flow and learn simple ways to create images, real or fanciful. Learn to see in new ways. Paint with solid skills and an open heart.

This workshop is designed to provide skills to take home. Ideal for all levels, from beginner to more advanced.
