Drop off your used books at Rollin Art Centre next week

Last chance to see Samm Moore's pyrography exhibit

The Rollin Art Centre will be accepting all your gently used books starting Thursday, Feb. 1 for their annual book sale in May.

We are very grateful for all your books, but cannot take ANY textbooks, magazines, National Geographic, encyclopedias or Reader’s Digest. Our book sorters have to then take these items to the landfill. So please, drop off donations (newer books only) at the Rollin Art Centre, inside the main door just under the staircase in the BIG wooden box.

As this is one of the Community Arts Council’s biggest fundraisers, we appreciate all your donations. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located at 3061 8th Ave. or call 250-724-3412 for more info.

One week left to check out the amazing art exhibit at the Rollin Art Centre, featuring Samm Moore and her first art exhibit. Samm graduated from Emily Carr and during her journey she found her passion in pyrography. Her gentle layering and very painterly style captures her images with such detail.

This exhibit is only here for another week and will disappear Feb. 2
