Ballet West sets Victoria Date

Ballet West’s repertoire” includes: Jodie Gates’ Mercurial Landscape, William Forsyth’s In the Middle and Val Caniparoli’s The Lottery.

One of the top professional ballet companies in the United States will be visiting Victoria for performances on April 24 and 25.

Ballet West’s “Mixed Repertoire” includes three pieces: Jodie Gates’ Mercurial Landscape, William Forsyth’s In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated and Val Caniparoli’s The Lottery.

Ballet West was created by William F. Christensen, a ballet pioneer in 1963. Artistic director Adam Sklute, formerly with the Joffrey Ballet, has further expanded Ballet West with new works by national and international choreographers.

Dance Victoria presets Ballet West April 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Royal Theatre in Victoria.

Sklute will be available for pre-show chats in the lobby 45 minutes prior to each show and is free for all ticket holders.
