Mark Stinson has returned to the Vancouver Island Junior hockey league, this time where he first started as a Saanich Brave.

As a 16-year-old Stinson had a solid season for the Braves, scoring 38 points (14 goals, 24 assits) in 41 games. Then as a 17-year-old Stinson left the VIJHL and captained the Juan de Fuca AAA Grizzlies to a provincial championship.
