Weeks of rumours have come true. The Americas Rugby Championship will be held at MacDonald Park in Victoria on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 3:30 p.m., featuring the B.C. Bears hosting the Ontario Blues.
The winner will play in the ARC final against the winner of the USA vs. Argentina match, also on Oct. 10.
The Bears beat Ontario in earlier round robin play, edged the Atlantic side in Newfounland and rolled over the Prairie Wolfpack last week at Stanley Park for the right to host this national event.
James Bay players Sean White and Francis Yoon contributed to last week's win over the Prairies.
Making it a double header, James Bay and Velox Valhallians move their Vancouver Island Rugby Union elite match to 12 p.m.
