Seals to wrap home season against Vipers
No one can say the Victoria Seals didn’t bring its ‘A’ game in its inaugural season.
They had the league’s top pitcher in Isaac Hess (traded this week) and the league’s home run king in Jamar Hill.
Despite the efforts of the two all stars, the Seals slide into their final home stand last place in the Golden Baseball League, having won just 12 of their first 32 games in the second half.
The Seals open the weekend today (Aug. 21) with a 7:05 p.m. game against the Calgary Vipers, same times Saturday and Sunday at Royal Athletic Park. The Vipers are the first place team in the GBL’s North Division.
