MacDonald Park regulars Team Emery of Victoria rose to the top as Mac Park in James Bay hosted the Senior D men's fastpitch provincials on the weekend.
Emery's Thomas Cordener was named the top pitcher at the tournament as Emery knocked off Vancouver's Rangers 8-1 in the final.
The Rangers Dan Karr was named overall MVP and Brock Diker of Williams Lake took the batting title with a solid .466 batting average.
Emery defeated the Rangers 6-5 in the semifinals of the double knockout tournament.
The Heywood All Stars, a local squad put together for the tourney, took out Williams Lake 12-5 but fell to the Rangers 7-3 in the lead up to the Rangers vs. Emery final.
