Teenage sex workers numbers increasing: Parents and guardians need to take good care of their kids. They need to tell them every day that they love their kids and that they will listen to them. Give them the skills to succeed in life: life coping skills not drug and alcohol abuse.

Opportunity in crisis: All good wishes of success to the CHEK-TV “White Knights” that have been under the thumb of the sanitizing, suppressive hand of CanWest, to their own detriment at real journalism for too long.

Bring on the competition and real journalism.

May I suggest that in addition to more local news, British Columbians are hungry for the facts and some good old-fashioned investigative reporting on pressing political issues that have all been deep-sixed by a closed network of clubbers, that cover up to protect high profile vested interests.

Four-legged constables get job done: High praise for these canines, as well as the seeing-eye guardians. It takes a lot of training for the dog to learn and bond with the guardian. There have been too many dogs placed in the SPCA because of the ignorance of their owners.

Sabre to cut through city skies: I saw the flyover of the F-86 and was very confused. I had heard nothing of this prior to witnessing this relic in the skies over Fernwood. It was almost as if it was an out of body experience ... there was no mistaking what it was and I hadn’t seen one since I was a kid. Very exciting but strangely disturbing.
