Vancouver Island Health Authority officials are starting to screen for eligibility at swine flu vaccine clinics.
The high-risk groups who have priority for the first weeks of vaccinations include people under 65 with chronic health conditions, pregnant women and isolated, rural residents.
“It’s on the honour system,” said VIHA spokesperson Shannon Marshall. “You will be asked if you’re in the eligibility criteria.”
