Trick or treats for the underfed
Updated: October 28, 2009 4:42 PM
Some of the kids who might trick-or-treat at your door on Halloween will be looking for more than just candy.
While Monterey middle school students are out in costume tomorrow night, they’ll be asking for sweet treats, as well as food such as cans of beans, soup and other non-perishables.
The students are determined to help Canada’s underprivileged children by donating items to local food banks and ask that you give them a hand on Halloween night.
