Easily Canada’s premiere stand-up comedy company, Just for Laughs is now set to bring some international flair to town.
The Capitol One Just for Laughs Comedy Tour 2008 features comedians from around the world, including Scotland, England, Ireland, Canada and the United States, and will hit Victoria tomorrow night (Nov. 15) for two shows.
Saturday Night Live alumni and host Finesse Mitchell will be a part of the two shows as well as Scottish comedian Danny Bhoy as headliner. Canadian comic Pete Zedlacher, Irish comedian David O’Doherty and British funnyman Hal Cruttenden are also on the bill.
Mitchell has worked on such shows at BET’s Comic View, The Tyra Banks Show, Comedy Central Presents... and The Today Show. He became a full-time cast member of Saturday Night Live in 2005.
The Capitol One Just For Laughs Comedy Tour 2008 takes place on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Tickets are available by phone at 250-386-6121 or 1-888-717-6121 or possibly at the door.
