Local musician and friends at Metro
Singer/songwriter Paul O’Brien will play at the Metro Theatre, 1411 Quadra St. on Friday, Nov. 28 where he will be formally releasing his latest album Plastic. O’Brien will be joined by guests including Anne Schafer and his children who all performed on the CD. Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets are available by phone at 250-480-0634.
Guitarist, cellist and harpist at Church
Local guitarist Michael Waters, Nanaimo-based cellist Allannah Down and classical harpist Diana Halter will perform a show tonight (Friday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m.) at the Church of Truth, 111 Superior St. Tickets available at door.
Storyteller live at Vinyl Cafe
Stuart McClean, host of CBC Radio’s The Vinyl Cafe will be in Victoria on Dec. 1-2 at the Royal Theatre, 805 Broughton St for two shows at 7 p.m. Tickets available by phone at 250-386-6121, or at the McPherson box office.
