Crowe hosting annual musical fundraiser

Artemis Place and HepC BC will be all the richer from the help of a rich voice.

Singer Allison Crowe once again hosts an evening of holiday cheer Nov. 28 to raise funds for the the two local non-profit centres.

Ellisa Hartman opens the 8 p.m. concert at Alix Goolden Hall with a blues/jazz guitar set. Crowe follows with her “Tidings” tribute that includes traditional Christmas carols and holiday favourites in a mix of rock, jazz, folk gospel and soul.

Artemis Place helps at-risk girls complete high school while learning conflict resolution skills.

HepC BC provides education and support to those living with hepatitis C.

Advance tickets are $20 or $15 for students and seniors, available from Lyle’s Place, Ivy’s book shop, and Munro’s Books. For more information, visit www.allisoncrowe.com.
