Name a building, pay a million

The Victoria Cool Aid Society and AIDS Vancouver Island are offering up the naming rights to their new building.
The social agencies opened the Access Health Centre at 713 Johnson Street in September. Reconstruction of the heritage building cost $5.3 million, of which all but $1 million has been raised.
Anyone who contributes the remainder will be offered a building naming opportunity.
The donation would free up operating dollars for spending on critical health care and social services for 6,000 of the region’s most vulnerable individuals, according to the press release.
