Victorian off to Berlin for feel-good brainstorm
Victoria resident Brad Morris is off to Berlin Tuesday to take part in a mass brainstorming session with people from around the world.
The 25-year-old is one of two Canadians chosen to take part in the Palomar5 Innovation Camp from Oct. 9 to Nov. 22.
The camp puts together 30 people to collaborate on ideas of how to use our digital generation to find solutions to social challenges of today.
Morris and his business partner created the GratiDudes, a business venture that does motivational speaking and has produced the Gratitude Dance video and two webisodes of the Adventures of the GratiDudes online.
Being out of town for seven weeks doesn't come cheap, Morris said, so he's organized a fundraising festival at his house tomorrow (Oct. 3) from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. with live music, massages, tarot card readings, face painting, meditation and a garage sale. The festival is at 1145 Woodstock Ave. in Cook Street Village.
